The Institute has constituted an advisory body that guides the functioning of the Central Library.  The Committee is headed by the Principal as Chairman. Chief Librarian is the Member Secretary. Other members of the Committee include heads of the departments and student representatives from undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The Committee meets once in three months.
