On December 13th 2024, Department of Periodontics conducted a Continuing Dental Education Programme which include a Diactic lecture followed by the table top workshop and patient handson on the most trending topic “LASER EXPERTISE IN CLINICAL PRACTICE” which was granted 12 CDE points by the Karnataka State Dental Council, Bengaluru, in the PNNM Dental College premise.
The Guest speaker was Dr. Suganya Selvarangam, founder and head of Laser India Academy.
During a One day event, the program participants had an opportunity to hear 3 hour informative lectures, understand the laser technology and its operation, practice Laser hands-on on the chicken breast to know the tissue dynamics and effect of laser on it, and lastly apply their expertise on the Patients. Many cooperative patients with Gingival, Periodontal and Prosthetic issues were treated free of cost.
