  • Duration of Course           : 4 Years + 1 Year Compulsory Internship.
  • Age Requirement               : The candidate shall have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year in which he/she seeks admission.

Eligibility:

  1. In case of admission on the basis of qualifying examination, a candidate for admission to BDS course must have passed individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together in qualifying examination. In respect to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% as above and must have passed the subject of English.
  2. A candidate willing to seek admission for under graduate and Post graduate course for an academic year shall obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by an authority designated by the Central government, for the under graduate and Post graduate course held for the said academic year.
  3. Candidate belonging to the SC/ST/OBC the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile;
  4. The eligibility criteria for NEET the rules are subjected to change as and when in accordance with the rules of regulatory body.
  5. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) shall be designated authority for counseling for all the admission to Undergraduate and Post graduate courses in all Dental educational institutions in the state including the institutions established by the State Government, University, Deemed university, Trust, Society, Minority institution, Corporation or company shall be in accordance with relevant rules and regulations of the Government of Karnataka State.
