CBCT is an advanced imaging modality to assess the bony changes. It helps the dentists as a Third eye. CBCT changes the way oral and maxillofacial radiology is practiced. The most significant advantage of the CBCT is that it can show critical root canal anatomical features that conventional intraoral or panoramic images cannot. A dental cone beam scan offers useful information when it comes to the assessment and better treatment plan. So, having the knowledge about the CBCT helps in providing proper treatment plan to the respective condition a lecture was conducted on 12th of September with the title “CBCT – The Third Eye”.
The lecture was given by Dr Kuhu Majumdar, Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist, Product Manager, Asia Pacific at Carestream Dental.
